Automation that respects people
We don't replace your team with AI. We take the double entry, the filing, and the phone tag off their plate so they can do the work that actually needs a human.
Opus is two developers who met in college and build software for a living — hired by businesses to automate the manual work their teams are stuck doing by hand.
We started with a plumbing company and a stack of paper timesheets.
We're two engineers who founded Opus in college, with industry experience building production software. Our first contract was a plumbing company where every timesheet, work order, and invoice was filled out by pen and re-typed by the office. We built them a dashboard, put AI to work on the re-typing, and watched hours of weekly grunt work disappear.
That project taught us how we work best: we don't sell software from a slide deck. We sit with your team and watch how the work actually happens — who fills out what, where things get lost, which task everyone quietly dreads — and then we automate exactly that. Nothing generic, nothing you have to bend your business around.
Being small and young is the point. You talk directly to the people writing the code, we move in weeks instead of quarters, and we price like a two-person shop that wants to earn the next project — not like an agency amortising an office lease.
We don't replace your team with AI. We take the double entry, the filing, and the phone tag off their plate so they can do the work that actually needs a human.
Every project starts by shadowing the real workflow. If we can't explain how your Tuesday works, we haven't earned the right to automate it.
No per-seat licences, no hostage code, no lock-in. The CRM, the dashboard, the automations — they're yours, whether or not you keep us around.
Businesses doing real work on paper.
Plumbers, HVAC crews, electricians, cleaners, auto shops — and any office where someone spends their day re-typing what someone else already wrote down. If a process in your business runs on clipboards, carbon copies, or copy-paste, we're built for you.
No pitch deck, no discovery questionnaire. Walk us through one manual process on a call and we'll tell you what automating it would take.
