Terms of Service
Effective date: August 19, 2026
Services
Opus builds websites and business automation for small businesses, offered as fixed-price projects or monthly plans. The specific scope, price, and timeline for any engagement are set out in the written agreement or quote you accept before we start.
Quotes and payment
We quote fixed prices in writing; we do not bill by the hour. Project work is invoiced as described in your agreement, typically with a deposit before work begins and the balance on delivery. Monthly plans bill in advance and can be cancelled at any time.
Your content
You own the content you give us — menus, photos, logos, text — and you confirm you have the right to use it. We use it only to build and maintain your website.
What you get
When final payment for a project is made, the website we built for you is yours: the design, the pages, and your content. We keep the right to reuse our own general tools and code libraries. Monthly plans are services, not ownership of our platform.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate content and information, ensure you have the rights to what you send us, and keep your contact details current. You are responsible for making sure the content on your website complies with the laws that apply to your business.
Messaging
Messaging with Opus through our Telegram bot is optional and is never a condition of purchasing or continuing any service. Monthly-plan clients who choose it opt in by starting a chat with the bot and having us link it to their account, as described during onboarding. You can opt out at any time by stopping or blocking the bot, or manage your website by email or the client portal instead. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Warranties and liability
We fix anything broken that we built for 30 days after delivery at no charge. After that, services are provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim, and neither party is liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
Stopping
Either side can end an engagement as described in your agreement. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the current billing period.
General
These terms are governed by California law. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: email [email protected].
